A Program through the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC):
The Department of Environmental Conservation’s Three-Acre Stormwater program is designed to help Vermonters, municipalities, and private citizens comply with stormwater requirements from the Vermont Clean Water Act of 2015.
Municipalities can apply for technical and financial support for the evaluation, engineering design, and construction of required stormwater treatment measures.
This program offers funding to municipalities to fund public-private partnership projects that control stormwater runoff in a manner that achieves greater pollution reduction than would occur by “going it alone.”
DEC is open to accepting applications should additional funding become available.
