Reporting

The Department of Finance and Management is statutorily required to produce the follow reports for the Joint Fiscal Committee or Legislature.


Joint Fiscal Committee Reports: When the Legislature is not in session the Commissioner of Finance and Management is often required or asked to report on Vermont's Finances.  Below provides a list of the most recent presentations made to the JFC

Excess Receipt Reports:  In Accordance with 32 V.S.A. § 511, quarterly the Department of Finance and Management reports the approved Excess Receipts to the Joint Fiscal Committee. 

Pay Act Report: Per 3 V.S.A. § 2281(4) Finance and Management reports to the Joint Fiscal Committee annually in November the amount for cost of living and step increases in a given budget year.

Special Fund Report: 32 V.S.A. § 588(6) requires the Commissioner of Finance and  Management to report to the Joint Fiscal Committee a list of Special Funds created in the previous Legislative Session and report on the final balances in Special Funds at the prior fiscal year.
