Consensus Revenue Forecast
The State revises the Consensus Revenue Forecast at least twice a year, in January and July, or more often as deemed necessary. The Forecast is prepared by the two State Economists, one representing the Administration and the other representing the Legislature. The Consensus Revenue Forecast is officially adopted by the Emergency Board whose membership includes the Governor and the Chairs of certain Legislative standing committees (Senate Appropriations, Senate Finance, House Appropriations, and House Ways and Means). The report prepared by the Administration’s economist is posted here.
