The Department of Finance and Management plays a key role in the financial and management activities of state government. We are seeking an individual to be part of a team responsible for the daily and long-term support of VISION, our Oracle PeopleSoft Financials state-wide accounting system.  This position provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated, self-directed individual to be involved in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of state financial processes. 

The successful candidate for this position will serve on the VISION Support Help Desk providing daily functional support to our 7000+ system users, including assisting users with security access, transaction processing, and training assistance.  The successful candidate will also serve as the change management lead on project teams responsible for implementing technology or business process change for the Department of Finance and Management.  This includes serving on the project team responsible for upgrading the VISION system to the latest Oracle PeopleSoft Financials release (currently underway) and expanding its footprint to include other financial management functionality in the areas of Project Costing, Project Management and E-Procurement.  

Responsibilities as a change management lead include developing a planned approach for moving people and processes in a direction that will align with new technology and/or business processes. This will include: identifying and anticipating people-related risks and concerns, gaining buy-in from key stakeholders and leaders, addressing organizational and cultural issues that impact project success and developing a communication, training and support plan for all levels of our organization impacted by the change. This position reports to the Director of Statewide Accounting of the Department of Finance and Management.
